A 40-year-old doctor arrives on the small island of Antiparos to run the local clinic. Winter: empty, quiet, manageable. Then summer arrives with its crowds, its bodies, its noise — and a young tourist who lets him tag along with her group. He doesn't chase her so much as get swept away. The locals watch. The mayor smiles. The island has seen this before. Papadimitropoulos shoots the summer sequences with genuine sensory intensity — the heat, the music, the alcohol — and then slowly turns the film into something else entirely. By the end it is one of the most uncomfortable portraits of male delusion in recent Greek cinema.
