Murina

A teenage girl trapped on a Croatian island with her controlling father. When an old family friend arrives — charming, worldly, a door to somewhere else — she sees her chance. Shot off the Dalmatian coast in water so clear it almost hurts — the beauty and the suffocation are inseparable. Executive produced by Martin Scorsese. Won the Caméra d'Or at Cannes 2021 — the first major Cannes prize for Croatian cinema.
